Professional Accomplishments
Dr. Gouldin is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond where she was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Following college she remained in Virginia and attended the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.
During veterinary school Dr. Gouldin was admitted to the Phi Zeta Honor Society and received multiple awards for academic achievement. She then completed a rotating internship in Ithaca, NY at Cornell University followed by a specialty surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in Dallas, Texas.
After the surgical internship Dr. Gouldin started her surgical residency at a private practice in Ohio before completing the residency at Hope Veterinary Specialists in Pennsylvania in 2015. Dr. Gouldin was a staff surgeon for one and a half years at a private practice in New Jersey before joining the team at CVS. She obtained board certification status in 2016.
